The Danish design of Carl Hansen & Son has a new flagship in Milan in via Mercato

New Milanese store, the only one in Italy, for the Danish Nordic design brand Carl Hansen & Son. In the Brera area, via Mercato 3, the mono-brand flagship has recently opened its doors, thus taking the place of a bank.

Carl Hansen & Son was founded 115 years ago and has been led by Carl Hansen’s nephew Knud Erik Hansen for over 20 years. There is no lack of important collaborations with international designers such as the Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the Danish Rikke Frost, the Austrians EOOS and the American Brad Ascalon.
