Patta, a must of international streetwear, adds a new store in Milan, in via Lupetta, 3, a side street of via Torino a few steps from the Duomo. A real flagship in a very central but secluded street, just as requested by the Dutch brand, famous for the long queues that are created in front of its stores.
«A much larger space than the first, thus suitable for hosting the brand’s exclusive collections with 250 sm and 3 windows,» explains Issei Komi, founder and CEO of Italia Fudosan, a retail development company.

The new Patta Milan flagship

In Italy, Patta shops are only in Milan and dictate the style together with those in London and Amsterdam. Right here, in 2004, the iconic brand was born, which has its roots in hip-hop culture.

The name “Patta” comes from a slang term meaning “shoe“, and is a tribute to the Surinamese heritage of the two founders, Edson Sabajo and Guillaume ‘Gee’ Schmidt.

The brand, we read on the website, encourages stimulating collaborations, cultural crossovers and unconventional forms. In the new Milanese store you can find sneakers, exclusive garments, limited editions and, every week, new footwear available only in the store.

Numerous collaborations that the renowned brand has established with brands of the caliber of New Balance, Nike, Danner, Marshall, Best Company, Converse, Tommy Hilfiger and many others.

Furthermore, Patta includes a cycling team, a running team, the Patta Soundsystem clothing line and the Patta Foundation which operates in the cultural education of young people. For those who don’t want to miss all the news from the Patta community, the magazine was recently born.
